Thanks for the advice, the thing is, I never install games in their default dir, second, I don't have a CD so it's just sucks to download it again but it doesn't look like I've got any other option. and since that the game rans! Try that, maybe it works for you too. Reinstalled the game from the discs, but the default location was not Program Files (X64) that Uplay uses, but the simple Program Files directory. I can open the task manager so its not freezing my system, task manager says game not responding. I can get to the menu screen, click continue game and it just stays on the loading screen. Have been playing most of the weekend with no problems, it's now monday morning and the game won't load. I got my pre-order copy through the post on friday 23rd (its the real game not a pirate, please don't post telling me it's an illegal DL!).
